It varies with what is running. Teaching, healthcare, logistics, administration, media and trade skills all get used, and so does plain availability — a great deal of the work is simply showing up reliably.

Not for most roles. Some placements — anything clinical, anything involving children, and work in the halfway home — require relevant qualifications and appropriate background checks, and we will say so plainly.
Where orientation or training is needed, we arrange it before a placement starts.
A coordinator reads every application. How quickly you hear depends on what is running at the time, so it can take a little while.
